Why we give
God is generous and so he calls us to be as well. What we do with what God has given us shows the world where our hearts are at and helps proclaim the gospel. We want to glorify God with every area of our lives, and that includes what we do with our finances.
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Give In Person
There are boxes at the back of the worship center where we humbly accept your tithes and offerings. Thank you for worshiping with us in this manner.
Mail A Check
Feel free to mail a check to the church's PO Box either through your banking options or from a home address. The address is PO Box 1509, Fort Mill, SC 29716.
Eternal Church offers several additional ways to give tithes and offerings through stock transfers, Donor Advised Funds, and IRA distributions. Click the type of gift below to find the information your financial provider needs for each giving type, as well as how to notify our Finance Office so we can acknowledge your gift.
Gift of Stocks
Thank you for considering a gift of stock to Eternal Church. By donating appreciated stock, you may receive a charitable deduction based on its current market value, and because neither you nor the church pays capital gains tax on the appreciation, your gift can be more tax-efficient than a cash donation. Here is how you can donate stock:
Thank you for considering a gift of stock to Eternal Church. If you have any questions, please reach out to Melissa Woodruff at finance@eternalchurch.net for help. We are grateful.
Important Note: Eternal Church does not provide tax or legal advice. Please consult your financial or tax advisor for guidance specific to your situation.
Initiate with your broker: Inform your broker you would like a gift of stock sent to Eternal, Inc which is the legal name of Eternal Church. Provide your broker with the following details:
- Brokerage Firm: Fidelity Investment
- Legal Name: Eternal Inc
- Account Number: Z38285060
- DTC Number: 0226
- Employer Identification Number (EIN): 20-5968708
Notify Eternal: Please send an email to Melissa Woodruff at finance@eternalchurch.net with the following information to ensure accurate processing and acknowledgement.
- Type of Stock
- Stock Symbol (if known)
- Number of Shares
- Designation: General Fund for tithes and offerings or a specific fund e.g., Building Fund, Missions, Care
Understanding your receipt: For gifts of appreciated stock, the charitable contribution value is generally determined on the date the shares are transferred to Eternal Church—not when the stock is sold. Once the transfer is completed, Eternal Church will issue a charitable gift acknowledgment that includes the name of the security, the number of shares received, and the date of transfer. Please note that Eternal Church cannot assign or state a dollar value for your gift. Your tax deduction is based on the fair market value of the stock at the time of transfer, which you will determine with your broker or tax advisor. We encourage you to consult a professional advisor to understand how this applies to your situation.
Eternal Church will issue the required acknowledgment for your records with gratitude.

Gift from Donor Assisted Funds (DAF)
Thank you for considering a gift from a Donor Advised Fund (DAF) to Eternal Church. A Donor Advised Fund lets you receive a tax deduction when you contribute to the fund—often during a high-income year—while giving you the flexibility to recommend grants to the church later, allowing for strategic and tax-efficient generosity.
Here is how you can donate from your DAF:
Initiate with your DAF: Update your DAF with the following grant information about Eternal, Inc which is the legal name of Eternal Church.
Notify Eternal: Please send an email to Melissa Woodruff at finance@eternalchurch.net with the following information to ensure accurate processing and acknowledgement.
Understanding your receipt: When you contribute to your DAF, you receive the tax deduction at that time—not when the DAF later makes a grant to Eternal Church. Because of this, DAF grants are not considered personal charitable contributions for tax purposes, and Eternal Church cannot issue a tax-deductible receipt for them. However, Eternal Church will send an acknowledgment for the grant. This acknowledgment is for your records but does not serve as a tax receipt, since the deduction was already taken when you funded the DAF.
Thank you for considering a gift from your Donor Advised Fund to Eternal Church. If you have any questions, please reach out to Melissa Woodruff at finance@eternalchurch.net for help. We are grateful.
Important Note: Eternal Church does not provide tax or legal advice. Please consult your financial or tax advisor for guidance specific to your situation.

Gift via IRA Distribution
Thank you for considering a gift through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from your IRA to Eternal Church. A QCD allows you to give directly from your IRA to the church in a tax-efficient way. If you are 70½ or older, a QCD can satisfy all or part of your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) while excluding the amount from your taxable income—a significant benefit, especially for those who do not itemize deductions.
Here is how you can donate through direct IRA distribution:
Provide your IRA company with the following information about Eternal Church.
Notify Eternal: Please send an email to Melissa Woodruff at finance@eternalchurch.net with the following information to ensure accurate processing and acknowledgement.
Understanding your receipt: A QCD from your IRA is not a tax-deductible charitable gift. Instead, the value of a QCD is that the distribution may count toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) and is excluded from your taxable income when sent directly to Eternal Church. Because QCDs are treated as income exclusions rather than deductible contributions, Eternal Church will provide an acknowledgment confirming the amount received and the date of the distribution, but this acknowledgment is not a tax-deductible receipt. We encourage you to consult your tax advisor to understand how a QCD benefits your personal tax situation.
